Air
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is located only three miles from downtown Aspen, and is the most convenient airport in the Rocky Mountain region! Flying to Aspen has never been easier and is, by far, the quickest way to start your vacation. United, Delta and American all currently offer dierct flights into ASE.

There is also service into Eagle County Regional Airport, located 70 miles from Aspen. Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta and United Express fly nonstop from 11 U.S. cities into Eagle. 970.328.2680.
Car
From Denver, Aspen is 220 miles or approximately 3.5 hours via I-70 West to Glenwood Springs.
From Grand Junction, Aspen is an easy 2.5 hour drive east on I-70 connecting with State Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs.
From Eagle/Vail, Aspen is about 70 miles or approximately 1 hour & 40 minutes travelling I-70 West to Glenwood Springs.

Shuttle
Several carriers will pick Aspen guests up at the Denver, Grand Junction or Eagle airport and transport them to Aspen for a fee. Guest will share a van, and equipment is safely stored on the roof or rear racks. For a list of our local transportation companies, visit our Transportation Page
Public Transportation
Hotels, shops and restaurants are within comfortable walking distance of most lodges, but should you need a "lift", Aspen has many taxis, limos, and hotel courtesy vans that provide service to and from the airport and around town. The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA), our local bus service, also provides routes between Aspen and Snowmass, extending to other Roaring Fork Valley communities, including Basalt, El Jebel, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and beyond. Driving Directions to Aspen, Colorado
From Aspen Airport
Turn right on Highway 82 and travel for approximately 3 miles and you will be in the center of Aspen.
From Denver and Eagle Airport
Aspen is 220 miles or four hours from Denver and 70 miles or 1 1/2 hours from Eagle/Vail. From both airports get on I-70 west to Glenwood Springs, connecting to Highway 82, at exit #116, to Aspen. Another scenic route from Denver takes approximately 3 1/2 hours via I-70 west to Highway 24 south, then west onto Highway 82 over Independence Pass (open only during the warm weather months, typically May 31 to Oct. 31st) into Aspen.
From Grand Junction
Aspen is an easy 2 hour drive east on I-70 connecting to Highway 82, at exit #116, to Aspen.
Driving Directions to Snowmass Village, Colorado
From the Aspen Airport
Turn left onto Hwy 82 and travel for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Brush Creek Road (there is a traffic light) toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek for approximately 5 miles, until you reach the Village.
From Denver and Eagle Airports
Take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs. Take the Hwy 82 exit #116 at Glenwood Springs toward Aspen. Follow Hwy 82 for approximately 38 miles. DO NOT turn at the first sign for Snowmass; this will take you to Old Snowmass. Follow the signs for Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Turn right onto Brush Creek Road (there is a traffic light) toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek for approximately 5 miles, until you reach the Village.
From Grand Junction:
