SKI CANADA
Western Canada pairs big mountains with friendly, walkable towns. Whistler Blackcomb is one of the largest ski resorts in North America, and Lake Louise, Banff Sunshine and Mt. Norquay sit in Banff National Park with some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere. We'll help you choose the right mountain and plan every detail.

WHEN TO SKI CANADA
Western Canada's season usually runs from November into May at the higher resorts. The right month depends on what matters most to your group: fresh powder, quiet slopes, spring sunshine or the best price.
NOVEMBER
Opening month. Lake Louise, Mt. Norquay and Banff Sunshine often open in early November, and Whistler Blackcomb follows later in the month.
DECEMBER
Storms build the base and more terrain opens each week. Mountain towns glow for the holidays, so book early for Christmas.
JANUARY
Cold, crisp days in the Rockies and deep coastal snow at Whistler. Crowds thin once the holidays pass, making it a great value.
FEBRUARY
A deep snowpack and nearly all terrain open. Family Day and Presidents' Day weekends are busy, so book in advance.
MARCH
Longer, sunnier days and some of the best snow of the year. A favorite month for families on spring break.
APRIL
Spring skiing on soft snow, with Banff Sunshine and Whistler Blackcomb often staying open into May.
EPIC OR IKON?
Planning several days or more than one trip this winter? A season pass can cost less than daily lift tickets. Western Canada's mountains are split between the two passes, so the right one depends on where you want to ski. We sell both and can help you choose.

WHEN TO GO FOR THE BEST VALUE
Timing has a bigger effect on price than almost anything else. Here’s how the season breaks down, and every package we book is backed by our Low Price Promise.
EARLY & LATE SEASON
November, early December and April bring the lowest prices of the year, along with quieter slopes and more lodging to choose from.
THE SWEET SPOT
The week after Presidents’ Day through the start of spring break in early March is our favorite window, with great snow at a fair price.
JANUARY
Once the holidays wrap up, January is one of the best off-peak values. Expect light, dry snow and short lift lines, and pack extra layers for colder days.
PEAK WEEKS
Christmas, New Year’s, Presidents’ Day week and spring break are the busiest and priciest times to go, so book early to get the lodging you want.
